How to get smoother smoothies

When I use only frozen veggie cubes and ice my smoothies seem a bit icy and clumpy ...if I am describing that right. The trick is to use a little less ice and substitute with a a small handful of frozen avocado. You will be surprised how much smoother your smoothie is.
